Twelve people lost their lives and 19 others were injured today, Monday, in a tragic traffic accident in the city of Yozgat, central Turkey. The Yozgat Governor's Office stated that the bus overturned on the city road while traveling from the province of Sivas to Istanbul. Turkish Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç indicated via his account on the "X" platform that judicial authorities have opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
It is noteworthy that the southern province of Hatay witnessed a horrific traffic accident last month, resulting in 12 deaths and around 30 injuries after a truck collided with several cars due to the driver losing control.
