Dismissal of Flick from Coaching Germany Due to Negative Results

The German Football Association has announced the dismissal of Hans Flick from the coaching position of the national team following a series of negative results on Sunday. The association stated on its website, "Based on the recommendation of the President of the German Football Association, Bernd Neuendorf, it has been decided to dismiss Hans Flick and his assistants from the national team with immediate effect." Rudi Völler, Hans Wolf, and Sandro Wagner will temporarily coach the team during the upcoming friendly match against France on Tuesday in Dortmund. The dismissal comes after a 4-1 loss to Japan in a friendly match on Saturday, and prior to the friendly against France in preparation for hosting the Euro 2024 tournament.
