The Saudi Press Agency reported today, Sunday, that the state-owned Saudi Airlines has launched new direct flights connecting Riyadh and Jeddah to the Chinese capital, Beijing. The agency clarified that the direct flights between Jeddah and Beijing were launched on Friday, while the direct flights between Riyadh and Beijing began today, Sunday. The agency noted that this step aims "to enhance the Kingdom's goal of reaching 100 million visitors annually by 2030," and also "to strengthen the bilateral and tourism relationships between the two countries."
