The head of the Office of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, held working sessions with several officials in the Mauritanian presidency, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy, in preparation for the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Nouakchott.
The Assistant Secretary-General chaired a high-level delegation from the General Secretariat of the Arab League to review the preparations for the summit, which will be hosted in Nouakchott on November 7.
Zaki discussed the ongoing preparations for the fifth Arab Economic Summit with Mauritanian Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk, highlighting the anticipated important decisions that will enhance Arab joint action in the economic and social fields.
