Progressive Party Condemns Azerbaijani War on Nagorno-Karabakh

The "Progressive Socialist" party condemned in a statement "the war launched by Azerbaijani forces against the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which constitutes an aggression on the region and results in casualties, destruction, and displacement." They emphasized the need to "stop the war and stem the bloodshed," pointing out that "it is essential to cement the ceasefire agreements signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and to adopt dialogue as the only means to permanently and peacefully resolve this conflict." Azerbaijan announced yesterday, Tuesday, the initiation of "anti-terror operations" targeting Armenian forces in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, just hours after six Azerbaijani citizens were killed in two separate landmine explosions.
