Max Verstappen has secured pole position for the Qatar Grand Prix, which could turn into a title celebration this Sunday if the Red Bull driver wins his third World Championship title in the sprint race tomorrow, Saturday. His teammate, Mexican Sergio Perez, the only other driver still mathematically in contention for the title, will start from just 13th position after his fastest attempt in the second qualifying round was canceled due to exceeding track limits.
