Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported late Friday that firefighters managed to extinguish a fire in a unit at the Ahmadi Port refinery without any injuries or impact on production or export operations. The Kuwait National Petroleum Company had previously stated in a post on the platform "X" that a fire broke out in unit number 35 of sector six at the Ahmadi Port refinery at 8:37 PM on Friday.
