Britain: China Accepted Invitation to the Global AI Summit

British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden said on Thursday that China has accepted the UK's invitation to attend the global AI summit next week. Dowden told the BBC, "They accepted the invitation, but we are waiting to see who will actually attend. However, currently, we expect them to attend the summit." The UK will host representatives from AI companies, politicians, and experts on November 1st and 2nd to discuss the risks of AI technology and build an international consensus on its safe development.
