On the anniversary of the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr, Interior and Municipalities Minister Bassam Molawi wrote: "On the anniversary of the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr and his companions, we remember him as a voice for unity and a towering national spiritual figure whose knowledge and work transcended the curse of sectarianism to become a blessing for the sects. We need him every day as a guide for coexisting among the people of one nation. The love of God cannot coexist with hatred for humanity."
