Two Killed in Shelling Targeting Ukrainian Kherson

The Office of the Prosecutor General in the city of Kherson, Ukraine, announced today, Tuesday, that "a man and a woman were killed in a morning shelling on the city located in southern Ukraine." It added, "Authorities are working to verify the number of injuries, and reports have been made of damage to property." On another note, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Chairman Oleksiy Danilov confirmed that "the military is achieving the primary objective in the counteroffensive against Russian forces," noting that "the past few days have been fruitful." He wrote on his official Twitter account: "At this stage of active hostilities, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are fulfilling the number one task – the maximum destruction of manpower, equipment, fuel depots, military vehicles, command posts, artillery and air defense forces of the Russian army."
