Less than 24 hours after the tragedy of a wedding ceremony, a new disaster occurred in the Al-Hawija region of Iraq due to spoiled food during another wedding celebration. About 50 people suffered from food poisoning at an event in the town of Al-Hawija, west of Kirkuk. Local authorities reported that the situation is under control. Some local media indicated that the incident took place during a wedding, with at least 20 individuals being taken to the hospital for treatment. Videos on social media showed large numbers of victims arriving at hospitals for care, including children.
