In the English League Two: Ince Sacked as Reading Manager

Reading FC has sacked manager Paul Ince on Tuesday, as the team sits in 22nd place in the English League Two after a six-point deduction last week, putting them at risk of relegation to the third tier. The club announced in a statement that "Noel Hunt, the under-21 team manager, will take charge for the remaining five matches of the season."

Ince, a former midfielder for England and teams like Manchester United and Liverpool, was appointed temporarily in February last year when the team was threatened with relegation before securing the full-time job in May. Reading has not won any of their last eight matches, slipping into the relegation zone following a 2-1 loss to Preston North End on Monday.

Reading's next match is against Burnley, the leaders of the League Two, who have already secured promotion to the Premier League for next season.
