Two players from the Palestinian national volleyball team, Hassan Zaiter and Ibrahim Qusiea, were killed in Israeli shelling that targeted the Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian news agency "Sund," the duo from Al-Sadaqa Club and the Palestinian national team lost their lives in an Israeli attack on the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza. The West Asia Volleyball Association mourned the Palestinian duo on Monday evening. In a statement, the association said: "The West Asia Volleyball Association mourns with deep sorrow the martyrdom of the Palestinian volleyball team players, martyr Ibrahim Qusiea and martyr Hassan Abu Zaiter, as a result of the aggression on the Gaza Strip. May God have mercy on the martyrs and a speedy recovery for the wounded."
