Major indices on Wall Street closed sharply higher today, Friday, supported by technology and growth stocks amid a decline in Treasury yields. According to preliminary data, the S&P 500 index rose by 67.91 points or 1.56% to 4415.26 points. The Nasdaq composite gained 278.02 points or 2.06% to 13799.47 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also climbed 394.58 points or 1.16% to 34286.52 points.
