Moscow: Ukrainian Drones Attack Four Russian Regions

Russia announced that Ukrainian drones struck four different regions today, Sunday, resulting in five injuries and forcing two airports in Moscow to briefly divert flights. The regions of Kursk, Rostov, and Belgorod, all bordering Ukraine, reported drone attacks. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that air defenses intercepted a Ukrainian drone flying in the Moscow region, causing it to crash in an unpopulated area. The Russian Defense Ministry also reported that it thwarted an attack by two drones on the Belgorod region, which regularly faces attacks from Kyiv. In a separate statement, the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov mentioned that 12 aerial targets were shot down as they approached Belgorod city. The Russian aviation authority indicated that it temporarily suspended the reception of flights at Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports in the capital following these incidents.
