A Turkish diplomatic source revealed to Reuters today, Sunday, that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the situation in Gaza in separate phone calls with his Egyptian and Jordanian counterparts. The source stated that Fidan exchanged views with his counterparts regarding "halting attacks on civilians in Gaza" and ensuring an urgent ceasefire. Additionally, the source mentioned that Fidan also discussed with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry efforts to ensure continuous and unobstructed humanitarian aid to Gaza. Fidan is set to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Ankara tomorrow, Monday, for talks regarding Gaza.
