Jordan: Drones Deployed to Monitor Violations During Tawjihi Results Celebrations

The spokesperson for the General Security Directorate in Jordan, Amer Al-Sartawi, announced the deployment of drones to monitor potential violations that may occur during the announcement of Tawjihi (general secondary education) results. Al-Sartawi urged people to refrain from unlawful behaviors such as firing gunshots, holding disruptive parades, and engaging in practices that pose dangers to road users. He called on traffic departments to enhance both human and mechanical surveillance, which includes fixed monitoring cameras and drones, to control all traffic violations. He emphasized the necessity of implementing traffic plans designed to organize traffic and ensure the safety of citizens, preventing disruptive parades and dangerous practices, and taking severe measures against violators in cooperation with relevant authorities.
