French President Emmanuel Macron announced today that 13 French citizens were killed in the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7. He pledged to do everything possible to bring back another 17 French citizens whose fate remains unknown. In a speech broadcast on French television, he stated that Hamas is a "terrorist" organization that wants the death of the Israeli people and that the only way to resolve the crisis is through security guarantees for Israel alongside the establishment of a Palestinian state.
