Developments Between Ibrahim and the Mexican Ambassador

Major General Abbas Ibrahim received the Mexican Ambassador Roberto Hernández in his office in Beirut today, Thursday, where they discussed the developments in the regional and international arenas. The meeting addressed the situation "in light of the accelerating events and the rising level of military escalation in southern Lebanon following the enemy's continuous violations of Lebanese sovereignty and UN Resolution 1701, particularly regarding the assassination of Hamas leader Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri," according to a statement issued by Ibrahim's office.
