The Kremlin indicated today, Friday, that it "continues its efforts to release Russian citizens held by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which governs the Gaza Strip." Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that "it would have been more appropriate to extend the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas given the extent of suffering in the area."
