Max Verstappen, the Red Bull driver and three-time world champion, secured pole position for the Brazilian Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship qualifying session, which was interrupted due to bad weather on Friday. Charles Leclerc from Ferrari will start from the front row alongside the Dutch driver, while Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso, both from Aston Martin, will begin from the second row. The qualifying session was halted as darkness fell, accompanied by flashes of lightning, gusts of wind, and rain. The International Automobile Federation announced that the session would not be resumed. The Interlagos circuit will host the sixth and final sprint race of the season, with qualifying held on Friday for the Sunday race, and Saturday dedicated to qualifying for the sprint race, which spans 100 kilometers.
