New Decision by the Central Bank of Lebanon: What Awaits Depositors?

The "LBCI" channel reported today, Friday, that the Central Council of the Central Bank of Lebanon has completed the drafting of a series of circulars, including the circular related to depositors who were benefiting from Circular 151, which allowed them to withdraw an amount of $150 per month. The channel noted that logistical reasons prevented the publication of these circulars today, explaining that they are expected to be published on Saturday following a meeting between the Central Council of the Central Bank of Lebanon and the Board of Directors of the Association of Banks.
