On Wednesday, the Israeli army violated the ongoing temporary truce on its sixth day between the Hamas movement and Israel in the Gaza Strip. Israeli boats targeted with shells the western area of Khan Younis, in the southern sector. Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted the central governorate in Gaza. The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported that the Israeli army's boats "opened fire towards the homes of citizens in areas west of Khan Younis, the beach camp, Sheikh Radwan, and other adjacent areas opposite the Gaza coastline, with no injuries reported." This breach follows a previous violation on Tuesday, when Israeli forces heavily fired in eastern Khan Younis, Rafah in the southern sector, as well as in the beach camp in northern Gaza and the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.
