OpenAI, backed by Microsoft, announced on Wednesday that ChatGPT users will now be able to browse the internet, expanding the range of data that the widely used chatbot can access compared to the program's features in September 2021. The AI startup stated that the browsing feature will allow websites to control how ChatGPT interacts with them. OpenAI mentioned in a post on the platform X that "browsing is available to Plus and Enterprise users today, and we will expand it to all users soon. To activate the feature, choose to search using Bing in the selection indicator under GPT-4." The company also announced a significant update earlier this week that will enable ChatGPT to have voice conversations with users and interact with them using images.
