Israel's Defense Minister: We Will Continue Fighting Until Hamas is Eliminated

On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Minister stated that the army is taking "specific and precise measures" in Gaza to allow Palestinian refugees to escape from the fighting with Hamas, seemingly referring to a four-hour ceasefire announced by Washington. Yoav Galant, when asked by a journalist about the U.S. announcement that he did not directly address, said, "These things do not detract from the military struggle." He added that the war will continue until Hamas is overthrown and the hostages held in Gaza are released.
