The Saudi Press Agency reported that Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud received a call from his American counterpart Antony Blinken, during which they discussed the Gaza ceasefire and efforts to deliver relief aid to the sector. The agency stated: "The two ministers explored ways to halt the serious military escalation in Gaza and its surroundings, the commitment to any agreement for humanitarian ceasefire, and discussions regarding the entry of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid to prevent the worsening of the humanitarian crisis." It added that the Saudi foreign minister emphasized "the kingdom's outright rejection of the forced displacement of Gaza's residents and the importance of the international community's serious and effective action to confront all ongoing violations by the Israeli occupying forces and their repeated violations of international law and humanitarian law."
