The reception organized by the Lebanese embassy in Riyadh to showcase Lebanon's tourism plan has commenced on the sidelines of Lebanon's participation in the major event held by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on World Tourism Day under the slogan of tourism and green investment. The Lebanese ambassador to Riyadh, Dr. Fawzi Kabara, highlighted during the reception that "this hosting aims to enhance Saudi Arabia's position on the global events map and in the world tourism sector specifically."
For his part, Minister of Tourism Walid Nassar affirmed that Saudi Arabia has stood by Lebanon in all circumstances and has opened its doors to the Lebanese people. He noted that he will launch tomorrow the project "Roots and Arab Pathways Vision" to preserve our traditions and engage with the future. He added: "I announce Lebanon's support for Saudi Arabia's candidacy to host Expo 2030 in the voting session scheduled for next November."
In turn, Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khatib pointed out that Lebanon possesses all the elements of tourism, including its wonderful people, and confirmed, "We will stand behind the "Roots and Arab Pathways Vision" initiative and support it, and we will continue to work together to promote Arab culture and tourism."
