Berri Hopes for the End of the Calvary for Lebanese People

House Speaker Nabih Berri extended his greetings to all Lebanese, especially Christians, on the occasion of the Holy Easter, expressing hope that this blessed occasion will bring a message of hope for the resurrection of Lebanon, a time for the victory of the will for good and life among the Lebanese, and an end to the road of Calvary. In a statement, he sent greetings to Palestine, noting that it is the land of the true resurrection and the first martyr in history at Al-Aqsa and the Mount of Olives. Berri said, "On Easter, I extend my pride and appreciation to Palestine, the land of the true resurrection and the first martyr in history, Jesus Christ. In the beginning, there was the word of truth, which after the resurrection became an eternal word. From there, from the Mount of Olives and the Mount, to Jerusalem and to those in seclusion in the sanctity of Al-Aqsa and its courtyards, they are today the message and promise of resurrection and the passage from servitude and occupation to freedom and liberation."
