US Attacks 28 Houthi-Linked Sites with 150 Missiles

The US military announced on Friday evening that it struck 28 separate sites linked to the Houthis in Yemen in two waves, using approximately 150 missiles. A senior US military official told Reuters that "the US does not expect a large number of casualties, especially as the targets included rocket launch platforms in rural areas." He added, "We expect the Houthis to seek revenge," but ruled out the possibility that the Houthis could replicate the complex attack that occurred on January 9 in the Red Sea. The military official also reported that "the Houthis fired an anti-ship ballistic missile today, but it did not hit any ship."
