The Saudi Press Agency "SPA" announced today, Tuesday, that the new Saudi ambassador to Iran, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, has arrived in Tehran to begin his duties. The agency reported that Ambassador Al-Anzi stated, "The directives of the wise leadership emphasize the importance of enhancing relations and intensifying communication and meetings between the Kingdom and Iran, and moving them towards broader horizons, as both the Kingdom and Iran are neighbors and possess many economic components, natural resources, and advantages that contribute to enhancing aspects of development, prosperity, stability, and security in the region, which will mutually benefit the two countries and the brotherly peoples."
Iran's newly appointed ambassador to Riyadh, Ali Reza Enayati, has arrived at the Iranian embassy in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Consequently, the level of diplomatic missions for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been elevated to the level of ambassador. In March, China mediated the rapprochement between Riyadh and Tehran, resulting in the restoration of full diplomatic relations.
