Jordanian Monarch Calls on World to Condemn Attempts to Forcefully Displace Palestinians

Today, Jordan's King Abdullah stated that "the world must condemn any attempt by Israel to create conditions that would forcibly displace Palestinians either within the war-torn Gaza Strip or beyond its borders." In remarks conveyed by official media after his meeting with the Cypriot president in Amman, King Abdullah reiterated the call for an immediate ceasefire and warned of "the danger of deteriorating conditions due to the ongoing Israeli bombing campaign."
