Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez stated on Wednesday that "his country does not support the use of the European Union's naval force aimed at combating piracy, known as Operation Atalanta, to protect commercial ships in the Red Sea from the Yemeni Houthi group." He added, "Madrid does not oppose establishing a different mission there."
