Simulation Related to Avalanche in Lebanon

A simulation regarding an avalanche was conducted in the town of Kfardebian, aiming to assess and manage risks, as part of the "Strengthening Community Policing" project in Lebanon funded by the European Union and implemented by (FIIAPP) and (CIVIPOL). This particularly focuses on developing cooperation between internal security forces and municipal police. The simulation was carried out within a series of scenarios that reflect the local reality, in collaboration with the Disaster Management Unit at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Additionally, standard operating procedures (SOP) were activated concerning the response to these risks. The main goal of this training is to enhance operational coordination and cooperation between internal security forces, municipalities, and civil defense.
