Turkish Airstrikes Hit 16 Kurdish Militant Targets in Northern Iraq

The Turkish Ministry of Defense reported that the military carried out airstrikes in northern Iraq on Friday evening, destroying 16 targets associated with Kurdish militants. It added that many militants were "neutralized" in the attack. In a statement on the "X" platform, the ministry indicated that the targets struck included caves, shelters, and storage facilities believed to house militants. It noted that the airstrikes targeted the Hakurk, Qandil, and Metina regions in northern Iraq.
