Max Verstappen, the "Red Bull" driver, will start from the pole position in today's sprint race after recording the fastest lap in the practice sessions that were delayed due to rain at the Belgian Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship. Young Australian driver Oscar Piastri from McLaren will join him on the front row, finishing just 0.011 seconds behind Verstappen's best lap time of 1:49.056 seconds. Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari duo, will start from the second row. This sprint race will be held independently for the first time at the Spa circuit and is the third of six such races this season. Verstappen, who was the fastest in all previous practice sessions as well as in the qualifying for the main race on Sunday, said, "Things were really tough, just like they were yesterday."
