Enrique Decides on Mbappé's Future

Following the victory against Metz on Wednesday and Kylian Mbappé scoring two goals, Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique discussed the future of his star player and team captain. Enrique told the media, when asked about an extension for Mbappé’s contract and whether he preferred it over advancing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, that he wanted both to happen, emphasizing the strength of his relationship with the player contrary to what is speculated in the media. The Parisian club also announced the extension of their injured captain Presnel Kimpembe's contract until 2026. The French defender underwent surgery after suffering a ligament tear and is expected to undergo another rehabilitation surgery in the coming days.
