Austin Arrives in Kyiv to Affirm U.S. Support for Ukraine

He added: "I am here today to deliver an important message that the United States will continue to stand with Ukraine in its struggle for freedom against Russian aggression, now and in the future." This visit comes amid increasing division within the U.S. Congress regarding aid for Ukraine. A joint meeting between Ukraine and the United States on military industries is scheduled to take place in Washington next month. This event, set for December 26, aims to bolster Ukraine's domestic weapon production as the Russian invasion approaches its second anniversary.
