Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar noted today, Thursday, that "Turkmen gas can be brought to Turkey via Iran or Azerbaijan in the form of swaps under an energy agreement between Ankara and Turkmenistan." He added during an energy conference in Istanbul that "the ministry is working with the Russian company Gazprom to establish a gas trading platform in Istanbul, aiming to launch it later this year."
