Erdogan: They Will Regret Their Actions in Gaza

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Ankara is closely monitoring the actions of those who are sending aircraft carriers to support and protect Israel in its war on Gaza, asserting that "they will regret their actions later." Erdogan added in a speech today, during a ceremony for the delivery of naval vessels to the Turkish naval forces: "Any talk about principles, international laws, and human rights from Western countries will no longer convince anyone, especially after their support for the Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip." He continued: "The same Western position that takes no steps to stop the war and prevent the killing of thousands of children and innocents in Gaza was previously seen in Iraq and other areas." Erdogan pointed out that "Western countries will face the consequences of the killing of more than 25,000 people, most of whom are children and women in Gaza, and over 100,000 injured so far." He remarked that "Western countries and their leaders are completely satisfied with watching Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu carry out massacres, slaughter, and acts of genocide in Gaza."
