"Sick Directors" Join Hunger Strike

After the five detainees in the military police prison in the Rayhaniyeh area, involved in the Beirut Port explosion case, announced an open-ended hunger strike due to the lack of any solution regarding their situation, MTV learned that detainees Abdul Hafiz Qaisi and Shafiq Mar'i have joined the strike in an attempt to raise their voices. It is noteworthy that Abdul Hafiz Qaisi, 65 years old, previously held the position of Director General for Land and Marine Transport at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and is suffering from serious health issues due to kidney and prostate problems, which have led to a significant weight loss.
