Major indexes on Wall Street opened higher on Wednesday after a drop in the Producer Price Index reinforced the view that the Federal Reserve has completed its rate-hiking cycle, while shares of Target surged following optimistic forecasts for the holiday quarter. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 79.02 points, or 0.23%, to 34,906.72 points. The S&P 500 increased by 9.60 points, or 0.21%, to 4,505.30 points. The Nasdaq Composite gained 52.89 points, or 0.38%, to 14,147.27 points.
