The storm Isha that struck Britain overnight has led to disruptions in the railway network, flight cancellations, and power outages affecting thousands of homes today, Monday. Scotland was the most impacted region, with winds exceeding 144 kilometers per hour resulting in the cancellation of all train services. Additionally, dozens of flights were canceled from Edinburgh and Glasgow airports. Train operations in parts of southern England, including between London and Gatwick Airport, were also affected. The UK power grid operator stated that electricity has been restored to most areas that experienced outages in eastern and southeastern England, but around 45,000 homes in Northern Ireland remain without power. Airlines canceled 102 flights to and from Dublin on Sunday.
