The CEO of the platform "X" shared an image of a tweet from Meta's head of communications, featuring a funny background of penguins (Facebook, Instagram, and Threads) raising a salute to their leader penguin "X."
Musk also took the opportunity to poke fun at Facebook’s outage, writing on his X account, "If you are reading this post, it’s proof that our servers are working." This comment came after hundreds of users worldwide reported issues on the "Downdetector" website regarding problems they encountered while using Facebook and Instagram. Many accounts experienced logouts, with users unable to return even after entering their passwords.
The word war between billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg (the CEO of Meta) intensified after Zuckerberg launched the "Threads" platform last July, which attracted over 100 million subscribers in less than a week after its launch.
