Italian footballer Davide Frattesi scored a last-minute goal on Saturday to give Inter a 2-1 win over Hellas Verona, who missed a late penalty, allowing the home team to extend their lead to five points at the top of the Serie A standings. Inter opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Lautaro Martinez, who received a pass from Henrikh Mkhitaryan inside the penalty area before calmly slotting the ball past goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò.
Verona equalized in the 74th minute when Thomas Henry, who had come on just a minute earlier, touched a cross from Ondrej Duda, with the ball slipping past Inter's goalkeeper Yann Sommer. Frattesi then put Inter ahead in the 93rd minute, and Verona missed a penalty in the 100th minute that could have leveled the match.
