The Houthi group, known as Ansar Allah, announced today, Tuesday, the "execution of a qualitative military operation that targeted two American warships in the Red Sea with naval missiles and drones." They stated in a statement: "The Yemeni armed forces, with the help of God Almighty, carried out a qualitative military operation that targeted two American destroyers in the Red Sea using our naval forces, missile force, and drone air force. The operation was executed with a number of naval missiles and drones."
The statement added: "The Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to expand their operations against all hostile targets, in response to the calls of the free people of our great nation and our Islamic community to provide support to the Palestinian people, who are currently facing aggression and siege."
The group emphasized in its statement that: "The operations of the Yemeni armed forces will not stop until the aggression ceases and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted."
