French national team midfielder and Juventus player Paul Pogba has announced that he will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against his four-year suspension due to a doping violation earlier this season, following the Italian prosecutor's request for this suspension duration. Italian media outlet Sky Sport and the newspaper La Repubblica reported that authorities agreed to the sports prosecutor's request to impose a four-year ban on the French player. The Italian anti-doping court had provisionally suspended Pogba in September after it was established that he had used a banned substance.
