Turkish authorities announced today, Monday, the "neutralization of terrorists in security operations in the provinces of Şırnak and Diyarbakır in southeastern Turkey, which involved helicopters and military drones." Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated through his official account on the X platform that "one of the terrorists neutralized was wanted by security forces with a red notice, as he had given instructions to carry out 7 operations in Şırnak between 2016 and 2022, resulting in the deaths of 7 security personnel and injuries to 20 others." The minister noted that "the second terrorist was wanted with a gray notice, having participated in terrorist activities between 2012 and 2022, during which 2 security personnel were killed and a third was injured." Yerlikaya clarified that "counter-terrorism operations will continue without any leniency or negligence."
