The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, signed a decision to invite the municipal electoral bodies in the districts of Mount Lebanon to elect members of municipal councils and determine the number of members for each, as well as to elect two mukhtars and advisory councils and specify the number of mukhtars and members for each in the districts of Mount Lebanon, on May 12, 2024.
