Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez stated today, Thursday, that the Inter Miami club, competing in Major League Soccer, will be the last team he plays for in his career. Suarez said in an interview with the Del Sol radio station in his country, "Inter Miami will be my last team; my family already knows that. There is no specific date yet, but this is the final step. I am ready for this challenge, but there is inevitable fatigue, and in the end, I want to have a good life in the future."
Suarez, 37, signed a contract with Inter Miami at the end of last year to play with them in the 2024 season after a brief period with the Brazilian club Grêmio. He has reunited with his former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, with whom he won four La Liga titles in five years at the Catalan club.
