The Swedish police announced today, Friday, that they "shot a man in connection with an incident in which three elderly women were attacked in the city of Västerås." The police clarified that the three women, aged between 65 and 80 years, were attacked by a man using a sharp instrument. The daily newspaper Expressen reported that one of the women and the attacker are receiving treatment in the hospital for serious injuries.
